£3500 sales

Just been to collect the last catalogues i have dropped before I go on holiday in a couple of weeks time. Gives me time to deliver all the orders and get things cleared before we go.

Over the last two periods (8 weeks) i have placed 5 orders which have totalled £3500 worth of products i have sold to customers!

So how much have i earned? I have earned £1008 over the last 8 weeks although only active for 5 of those 8 weeks. Not bad for a part-time business done in evenings around my work and family life.

Week 2

As i have achieved an additional 10% bonus (due to volume of sales) from the previous bumper order i went out again to see if i could obtain the next bonus level of 13% within the period.

Again i was dropping orders to an established customer base. This was houses on the road home from work. Unless i am in the two main towns in Orkney everywhere else is rural, I may be lucky to get a group of half a dozen houses together but apart from that it is very much stop/start as i have to drive a couple of minutes between houses. Dont get me wrong, it is not hard and used too it as i drop the catalogues in the 7 miles between work and home.

I dropped appox 80 catalogues this week and collected them after the weekend. By the time i placed my order on the internet my order totalled over £750 and i had sold over £1700 work of products in the two weeks.

I had also achieved the next bonus level of 13%.

So how much have i made in the two weeks? Well from the retail sales i have earned around £350 with a bonus to come from Kleeneze at the end of the period for £130.

Just short of £500 in the two weeks! Not bad for a part time job!

£900 Order

I went out with my catalogues for the first time this year a couple of weeks ago.

Started with dropping catalogues to my local established customer base. This has always been one of my best areas to drop as i know most of the customers from before i started in the business.

Being a rural area it also takes a bit of time to get around the area. Drop a catalogue go a hundred yards, drop another etc.. There are some houses that i cannot just drop the catalogue and move on to the next house. I have to go in for a chat. It is nice and i enjoy it.

Anyway I dropped 70 catalogues on my round on the Friday night for collection on Monday evening. As I work full time and my wife works part-time i like to do it this way as it still leaves the weekend free for time as a family.

I went to collect my catalogues on the Monday evening and Tuesday evening i collected the straglers (those that had forgotten to leave them out the night before or wanted to hold onto it for another evening) and received orders for approx £900 for 50 of the 70 catalogues i dropped. A very good return rate.

The order arrived the following Monday and when i got home from work my wife had sorted all 50 orders for my to deliver the following evenings.

Going to try and post more!

Wow is it nearly two years since I posted a blog post!

Well i am going to try and post a bit more frequently with what i am doing. Things with the day job have been hectic with a lot of travel which got in the way of my Kleeneze routine.

I did not do as much Kleeneze as I had done previously but have started again this last month.

Lack of posting

I cant belive this is my first post of 2007.

I had a nice long break from Kleeneze over Christmas and New Year. One of the benefits of this business is that you work when you want with no pressure to get out and do something.

Been trying to get out regularly over the last 6/8 weeks but the day job has really gotten in the way with trips away for meetings and conferences. Had 4 trips in the last 6 weeks which has usually been for at least 2 days. Hoping things are going to calm down and i will get back into my regular Kleeneze schedule.

I also hope to keep up the posting on the blog a bit more frequent.

Period 11

Period 11 has just finished and i made £592 just by working a few hours in the evenings. A nice little earner which will grow over th next year as i develop the business. This extra money has certainly come in handy as my wife is currently off on Maternity leave plus the fact we have had to buy a new cooker and hob for the kitchen.

Interactive Catalogues

Kleeneze have made the Christmas Catalogue and the Main Kleeneze Catalogue interactive.

You can view all the products available within the catalogues and make notes of the items you want when your distributor next calls past.

If you do not have a distributor calling in your area at present you can contact Kleeneze and they wil pass on your details to the nearest distributor to drop you a catalogue.

Earnings 2

This period ends on Thursday but have not done any Kleeneze this week as the weather has been awful and we have been busy going to kids birthday parties.

So for the 3 weeks out of 4 within this period i have managed to make over £550.

Hoping that as we get nearer christmas the kleeneze orders will increase due to the great catalogues.

Earnings

Last period i did not do a lot but still managed to make over £350 for about 30 hours work.

This business is great and getting better.

Looking at expanding and building the business and team.
